Our 2025 youth mission team will be going to TEAMeffort’s North Carolina Disaster mission site June 29 – July 4. TEAMeffort is a non-profit inter-denominational Christian mission organization that has been providing life-changing, eye-opening, and faith-building mission experiences for youth for over 20 years. They offer opportunities for youth groups to put their faith into action through challenging and rewarding mission projects. The area around Asheville, NC was hit with a lot of destruction from the hurricane and floods last fall. It is filled with incredible people who need help. Our team will serve in an area that will meet needs of the community and make a lasting impact on each member. There will be building opportunities ranging from clean up to ramp building to house repairs. While there, our group will stay in a facility with dorm style housing from a local college. On campus, there will be a dining hall, game fields, activities, while chapel will be close off campus. All meals are provided except two lunches and two dinners during free time. 

As we put our faith into action by ministering to this community through activities and helping to improve their homes, we will also be showing them that the love of Christ is at the center of their lives. Most importantly while we work, we spend time in Christian fellowship with our church group and with people from all over the USA. We are trying to be God’s hands and feet to His people. We will learn a lot about ourselves and God’s plan for us. 

The trip cost will be $479. Each participants pays a $150 deposit so $479 per participant needs to be raised. Right now, we have 22 participants. In the past, most funds have been raised by fundraising. One way we can raise the money is by getting sponsors.
