Adult Mission Team

The adult mission team meets monthly!

The mission is different each month. Some of our recent missions included building personal hygiene bags, making birthday bags for Vancrest nursing home, making meals for those who cannot attend church in-person, helping our local animal shelter, and more.

Be sure to keep an eye on our upcoming Events to see what the mission will be for this month.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.

Mission Sundays

Whenever there is a 5th Sunday in the month, we have Brunch Church + Mission Sunday.

This mission work can be anything from assembling blessing bags for those in need or teaming up to help with lawn care and maintenance for someone that could use a helping hand… or many helping hands!

Mission Sundays are perfect for getting to know other parishioners, as people of all ages and backgrounds can work together on these projects.

Community Garden

Join us at our community garden where we plant, care for, and harvest vegetables that will be donated to the local food bank.

All ages are welcome to help!

Common Good Food Bank

This is the local food bank that we consistently donate to.

Please check the latest Bulletin to see what items the food bank is in need of. We thank everyone for their generosity!

Blessing Box

Outside of our church, we have a blessing box that parishioners help to keep stocked for anybody who may need food.

We are always accepting canned food, preferably pop-top cans, canned meet, and fruit cups.

Souper Bowl

Every year before Superbowl Sunday, we host “Souper-Bowl” Sunday where we paint ceramic bowls and mugs to get auctioned off on Superbowl Sunday following our church service. All proceeds from the auction go to the Common Good Food Bank here in Eaton.
